Not sure how, but there has to be a way to add a boost to casual league play.

The only difference I see between casual and non-casual is the play calling restrictions and AI.

Could there be another element implemented in casual that would be different from non-casual, that would enhance, but not make them like non-casual leagues?

Any ideas........ I mean suggestions (edited due to the wise postings of some very wise people)?

I think the suggestions forum is for making suggestions. Not for posting a random thought and wanting people to fill in the blanks for you.

Casual is actually doing quite well right now. There have been a number of teams leave regular league to go there.

I was an owner there back when it was transformed from a mere concept to an actual league type. When casual first started it was nothing but garbage dots and CPUs. Now there are more competitive teams and casual is no longer a place just to drop in for one season for an easy gold.

And that's not really saying much. PW is beyond dead. It's almost forgotten.

Not talking about the competition, I am referring to the idea that casual has no different elements to it that would make it stand out vs non-casual other than it doesn't have what non-casual has.

I am thinking more of how or what could be added (exclusively) to casual that would not take away from the casual identity.

Still missing the point of the OP

Even though I am not sure what difference it would make if it did or didn't...

Other than responding with the continual "it's ok, it's good, I like it" etc, do you have any suggestions as to what could be added to casual that would make it more than just a stripped down BETA version of non-casual?

Let me try to give an example, since I guess the OP is over the heads of some...

Let's say that casual leagues have "team challenges" or "mini games" that can be scheduled by the owners, but this can only be done in casual. Non-casual would not have this option.

This is just an example, so don't go chewing this one up too much.

Why should this only be an option for casual?

Read the OP again and the Title.
