Does it work for OLBs or only CBs? Seems like a good SA to use if it works on OLBs.

It works for any player rush for QB.

Is it as good as first step? I'm trying to decide which to go with on my LB.

First Step is much better.

It works as well for OLBs as it does for CBs. The thing is, it doesn't help either very much. First step is far better, and in fact, in my opinion the best SA you can get for a blitzer. On my blitzing LB, I have FS as the bonus SA.

Yeh, from what i've read most people believe FS is the best. Oh well, it's only three BTs to change!!!

Seems like the only ones you have to have are First Step and Disguise Blitz.

Disguise Blitz does nothing for LBs, but is useful for blitzing corners or safeties.

If DB is useless for LB's, what would be a good second SA for a coverage and/or a blitzer arch? TIA

If he's a dedicated blitzer then maybe Head of Steam.

I've seen decent things from Tunnel Vision for blitzing OLBs.

It's not that Disguise Blitz won't work for LBs, it's that LB blitzes generally don't require OL vision checks the way that outside blitzes from CBs & safeties do.

Or at least the vision checks don't seem to be tough. Try finding red eyes over OL on LB blitzes.

I can't speak for pass-rushing OLB's, but on my pass-rushing DE about 8 seasons ago, I noticed no results from Blitz whatsoever. Another DE had a similar build to me and he had FIrst Step, Tunnel Vision, and all the essentials, whereas I sacrificed most all that for heavy "Blitz" emphasis. Big mistake. The other DE was annihilating the stat-sheet while I was left picking up scraps.

Don't bother touching Blitz.

Blitz sucks and I also think Relentless Pursuit sucks! I have had like 8-10 in RP and my DT and DE still allow time for 30-40 yard passes
