If we are allowed to create a thread for free agency on day 20, why not allow for the same option to be available in the marketplace?

Allow ad creation on day 20, just like creation of threads for the next season is allowed.

Sorry, this player is not a free agent. Only free agents (players without teams) or soon-to-be free agents may place ads in the marketplace.

"soon-to-be free agents" ??? what does this mean btw?

+1 as long as theres a way to tell that the player is looking for a team next season and not the current season without having to go to his profile.

Teams start sending out renewal contracts at about this time so the owners already have a pretty good idea at that time what they are going to need for the following season. Would be nice to contact agents with players that are looking for new homes.

Not to mention that some teams also know by this time if they're going to be continuing on after the season. I've been on a few teams that, around this time, decided to go CPU and reload, or simply need to drop a team for flex issues or real life intrusions. It's nice the owners let the agents know early... but there's no marketplace for those dots so it's all PM's, IM's, and word of mouth until then.
