Same sim my ass. I'd go a bit farther, Dub. For many, many seasons I felt that confidence was one of those "afterthought" skills you slipped an extra point into now and then unless your dot is a kicker, punter, or QB... positions for whom I thought confidence was actually designed for (kinda like how 'blocking' isn't for every dot... but is important to those whose position demands MADE it important to have). But,lately... with all the talk about moral spirals and dot-performance issues... I believe confidence is so interlocked with effects on other skills, that it's much more important than anyone gives it credit for. No matter what you build, Confidence is, at least, a secondary skill for every position... AND, when you read the info box of what it does for that position, you find out how it helps; "make tackles, deflect balls, avoid fakes, complete passes, catch passes, hold unto the ball, intercept passes, not get depressed when pancaked... scored on... or lose your date with the local cheerleader... ect, ect, ect." I keep putting more points into it and watching. Who knows... maybe my dot will run for President. Lord knows it would be better than what we got to choose from now.
