I know that if your team blow out another your stats get adjusted downwards but until now I didn't know that if your team gets blown out your stats are also lowered . This strikes me as a bit odd .Player I noticed it on

5 ff adjusted down to 1.66 due to his team getting crushed

It was the result of people putting their dot on the worst team they could find (typically CPUs) and trying to exploit the lolMVP system.

Yes, it has always worked this way.

As Dub mentioned, it's intended to help level the stats and have a fair competition for the award system.

It was actually the result of hali colluding with other teams to throw games and win their dots trophies and MVP EQ.

No, that was why blowout adjusted stats were added. Bort had to add a penalty for playing on a shit/CPU team a couple of seasons later due to people signing CPUs with their team and spamming plays for one player.

The fact of the matter is gart was given credit for "exposing" the exploit but the fact of the matter was people were doing it before him. Just that most people that post in the forums were unaware of the issue until gart did it.

Which is sad because myself and others had contacted support about teams doing the exact same thing in other leagues well before that game was played.
