Note: The old thread was locked due to inactivity, so here is a repost with an update.

We are looking for teams that have a lot of wins. Playoffs do count and so do all scrims just to make the count consistent and simpler to figure out. I think any team with over 200 wins will have been around since at least since season 25 giving them 5 full seasons to rack up wins. The number of wins is the number up until day 23 of season 30. Also, I have discounted situations in which a team has been CPU and still owned so as to keep the proper win-loss record. If any of the teams in the retired section start having a full roster or start a new team with the same name, please tell me.

The insta-scrims counting mean newer teams can make up a lot of ground fast.
Green Bay Packerz are 324 - 109 - 2 now in ~5.5 seasons, and the fast majority of those games are insta-scrims.

QFT... PWG used to be a stomping ground.. Now it looks average at best. Even when I joined PWG the quality of teams was already on the decline.. Just like the other thread said GLB is dying.

It's probably because there aren't that many people committed to PW. Most people involved in PW are like me. They just dabble around in 2 or 3 different league types hoping something sparks an interest in them to want to apply their knowledge to winning games. Regular, casual, and peewee have not done that. Right now I am building up a little franchise deal in regular but that really doesn't have me all the enthused.

In all honesty, casual is probably doing better than regular and peewee right now. I see more legit teams there than anywhere else. I think this game has been reduced to the majority of the people with the knowledge not having the energy or enthusiasm to seriously coordinate any longer. A handful of people still gameplan and will most likely pick up easy trophies since there isn't near as much cares/competition as there once was.

I remember back in the day just making the playoffs in an A or BBB league was a big deal due to the amount of competition. Now if you even half-ass recruit a roster you will make the playoffs in almost every league. Of course PW Gold and WL are the exceptions since those are two very static leagues.

I remember how gold used to be. In seasons 11-14 or so, that would probably earn you demotion because every team was good and any team could beat any other. That's the difference between now and then. By season 16, gold had become a league where boosting was enough to avoid demotion and probably make the playoffs. However, I would say that from season 22-25, gold became more competitive again and then went down sharply in season 26. I just wish that gold can be competitive again, but it won't happen until Bort does something to lower prices. Last time, the NBNC movement was put down by adding rental custom EQ, but that only lasted for a few seasons until we started complaining again. I think that Bort needs to realize that this game has priced people out and that only a few people are willing to spend the money anymore.

Wish there was a way to look at teams minus scrimmages and tourneys, the Crib Midgets since they were born in only games that matter (Regular and Post season):

296-64-4 (.822) 21 Seasons

Hope to get over 300 this season.

Even season 24-25 East was still tough:

SBWL
Chicago
FG
Maine
Ogopogo
Sons of Anarchy
Shy Town
Wood Village Whistle Pigs
Springfield
Baytown Bulldogs

Those ten teams are some of pee wee's all time best. This doesn't even include Twin Peaks, Devil's Advocates, Little Green Men, plus Hardly Athletic who are still some of pee wee's great times that were either non-boost or had down seasons. Compare that to the East this season. After season 25, Gold really started to decline.

Maine best ever, behind w/e team Stoner was on.

I forgot who ran Twin Peaks for a few seasons when I stopped, but they kept it competitive. East always had tough teams.
