So since players get bonus tokens by "working out" anyways, why not have the option to shed or gain some weight with them? The amount of BTs per pound is debatable but I'd really like to make my QB less of a fatass now. Height change would be nice too but that's NGTH for obvious reasons.

what benefit do you have from weight change? The use of VA's? a 360 lb center can run just as fast as a 170lb cb... should update the OP with benefits of this actual change, or examples.

Wrong, weight affects velocity. There is no downside to implementing this and it makes sense realistically. Players who want to gain or lose weight in real life have the ability to do so by working out.
Furthermore, it could help new players who don't understand the affect weight has on their dots when they make them (or existing players clearly). Anything to make it easier for new users is a +1 in my book.

honestly, the only problem i see with this is that it could be exploited if im right. i dont feel like doing any of the math but couldnt you just build a centre, go really light so you start with minimal strength and easy training gains. then when your strength/blocking are at your desired levels, you just up your weight to max to gain 2 free easy points to strength and blocking.

That's not how I mean it. After creation the +2 is not available to change. I only mean how weight affects your player in the sim. It would really be more useful for height but like I said NGTH.
But even if you could get the +2 back, if it costs BTs it would probably not be smart to do that, because then you lose the ability to enhance a whole bunch of attributes early on or unlock multi training sooner.

The inverse is still true. I build a DE with max weight to get the +2 strength and blocking. Train until I am ready to stop putting SP in strength and blocking and then lower my weight later all the while getting better training numbers in speed/agility.
Completely unnecessary suggestion. Weight should be locked in at player creation the way it is now. Allowing changes to it opens a Pandora's box of exploits for no good reason.

I can see this being abused, or exploited, but we could put restrictions, like a minimum and max weight then, that would be more strict?

i like the idea as long as there is no exploits possible...would make more sense though to have to use TPs than BTs
