I will probably get tons of bad feedback but I think this would add a lot of realism to the game and eliminate a lot of the 'formula' based performance from dots. Right now most dots are built roughly the same and perform roughly the same from a stat standpoint. I think having streaky would allow for some big games and help make it fun to watch your dot when hes having a good day. Bad days will not be soo fun but tbh all dots should have good and bad days. Perhaps even use conf as a trigger for this or make conf trigger this more often in playoffs, but that part of it may be too complicated.

What say u GLBers???

If we didn't already have tons of rng type plays this might be a decent idea, but there's too much of that already

I get the basis of the idea... everybody has off games, down days, bad karma times. Without it, you're saying there are dots out there that are completely static... never changing. Thing is, I suspect it would be very hard to code without bugs causing mega pains. It would almost have to be where every dot created was on a kind-of "bio-rhythm" that ran the life of the dot. I remember certain sports games used that system (bio-rhythms) and it kind-of worked... but it really didn't add much more to the game than already existed. Just my 2 centavos.

how would it be very hard to code without bugs lol? its already in the game

I could maybe get behind this if the effect was toned down, and maybe if it was tied into confidence. So if your confidence was higher then you would be less streaky. After all, the most confident players IRL are the most consistent, right?

I think it is a no brainer. Confidence should affect it as well. Change the way it works a bit so the players are on a sliding scale instead of you get a preset amount on a good day, and a preset amount on a bad day, but yeah I like the idea.

I like all of that, confidence can reduce the chance of a down streak if high, increase it if low, and vice versa for an up streak.

But make it end of last game's morale, not just confidence.

Add this - that it trends, being up one day means an increased chance of being up the next and vice versa. To a point, it would not be 100%. And your first Hot after Slump would not trend Hot but just break the Slump trend and vice versa.

That way coaches would want to look to see who was hot or not and make gameplan choices accordingly.

Complicated Chrome but potentially amusing.
