i feel this game needs something to make the users feel like their dots are actually accomplishing something other than helping the team win. Sure it's nice when the team wins but people want to see their dot do well. I think we need to expand the awards system

Right now the trophies are awarded for things like most tackles, most INTs, most PDs, etc

same on offense (most receiving yards, most TDs, etc)

Why can't we have these by position?

Most Tackles by a DE, FS, S, LB, etc

Most receiving TDs by an WR, TE, HB

Most pancakes my a C, G, OT, TE, FB

it makes the dot builders strive for something more.

Also why can't there be a way to track a Coordinator's record .

would be nice for bragging rights.

I am an OC of 4 teams and my record is 178 - 12 - 1 or something like that.

I am sure there are a ton of other things I am missing, but this would be something for those out there that just want to enjoy their dots more...

The only thing i dont like about GM records are the fact if you do amazing and the other side of the ball doesnt perform well.

What if you allow 3 points a game 4 times throughout the season and the Oc doesnt score any? Thats 4 losses that are 100% not the DC's fault. Would be a stupid thing to keep track of imo.

I've mentioned this before as well.

It's a fun game, but the experience could definitely be more attractive to the individual person. Unless you coordinate, scout, or own a team, there isn't a lot that is very attractive. Player trophies are limited, and you fight a bunch of dots for them instead of just ones at your specific position. If you make a lot of dots you increase your odds, but you lose connection to your dots the more you create.

If they improved the trophy and ranking systems to where it was position specific, based on stats people actually care about, and you get a trophy for a top 3 tanking at your position in your conference, position MVP, and they had coordinator trophies or accomplishment lists for stat ranking and dots in that defense getting trophies, all of which could compile for an MVP coord. each season, then the game has more accomplishments to achieve and becomes much more attractive.

If you're a receiving TE, unless you are the sole focus on offense then your position is ignored due to being lumped in w/ WR stat categories and receiving HBs are lumped in too. Combine that with your team being elite, but losing in the 2nd or 3rd round of playoffs barely each season, and eventually it gets annoying and feels like you are wasting flex.

Nobody gives a shit about fumbles in a season as a stat category, why broken tackles aren't on there still is beyond me. Why receiving yards allowed for dots aren't a trackable stat on defense is beyond me, and why TFLs and other worthwhile stats are shown, but don't count for a trophy is also beyond me.

In short:

1) position-specific trophies (most TDs for WRs, most TDs for TEs, most tackles LBer, most tackles safeties, most receptions HB, etc etc)
2) better stat categories (no one cares about fumbles or dropped passes), and ones that count for trophies (why don't TFLs?)
3) MVP for coordinators and HCs based on stat rankings, dot position rankings, not just team record, and also based on effective level they had to work with
4) Trophy for a top 3 ranking at your position that season in your conference

yeah, sorry I stole your ideas

but if bort wants to make this game more "fun" for the users, than these kinds of things would do the trick.

people love their awards and trophies and what not..

ok so keep track of how many shutouts, how many games you held a team to no TDs, things like that...

But your O or D ranking for the season would be on the record, poeple could see that you`d done a good job with your half of the deal even if the team as a whole didn`t do so well

I wouldn't want to see trophies for league leaders at each position. What I'd rather see is overall trophies for more stats (KL, rev cakes), regular season championship trophies, and playoff trophies.

So what you're saying is you want the game to be more like soccer?

EVERYBODY gets a trophey because they participated.
