My player got auto-released by my own team because of the 1000 day limit.
Forum > Suggestions > How about a league where 1000 day old players can play?
this is probably a bug because Bort never thought you'd have a player that old, probably set caps to 999 days
I've asked him for clarification

I am not trying to be a ass here but why would anyone want to keep a dot to 1000 days old anyway. seriosly the player isn't going to be of any use to a team.

And if trent walker gets axed from his team seven days into the season, you are really going to see some trentw rage.

It would be cool to unretire some of my original players and see them play in a geriatric league with the current sim. I would even be willing to spend a little flex, say 50 flex per player to bring them back, so it could be a money maker for Bort. But maybe make the limit 700 or 750 days. There aren't many players that are close to 1000 days old yet.

All of the Season 1 players are. Season 2 players will get there over the next season.
...and if you really want to know how your original players would play in the current sim, you could always rebuild them that way.

I've got a team full of them that were quite happy. If they're not going to allow for 1000 day old dots, I'm selling my team, and will likely retire several of my dots.
I don't get it...it's not like GLB has too many teams, that my old timers were taking spots away from younger ones that needed them.
I've been playing since season 1...if they want to force out us season 1 players....fine. I guess I'll go.
