It amazes me that he won't make the play regularly. +1 to this and every other thread about this issue.

Yeah, as a DC, I'm ashamed to admit that I've been saved by this kind of crap a few times. But that doesn't make it right.

+1 to lowering the risk threshold of an OPEN man.

i wish i had bookmarked the play i saw recently. 3 guys downfield yelling "i'm open" and the progression even went thru 2 of them, yet the pass goes short to a non pass catching HB who drops it. the vision checks to decide if a player is open are ridiculously bad.
