In other words , make a check box in the output (or basic tactics for casual) that says 'QB may throw into triple coverage'

so it becomes situational , like when your team is down and/or low on time or w/e.

Triple coverage defined as 3 defenders within x radius of receiver.

If the box aint checked , it WONT HAPPEN!

Boom.

I mean even a 7yr old pw qb knows not to throw to triples , so i dont even know why it happens here ever.

Even a qb with 0 vision shouldnt be allowed to, unless its called for.

Just from what I've seen, throwing into triple or double coverage happens mostly late in a play. Someone suggested plays not last so long, would probably solve that issue.

But what get's me is GLB should use some common sense on this, The QB's will have 90 something Vision, ace the Wonderlic Test, and I don't give a shit what the progressions are, (most of my plays are Default anyway) and dude Throw into Double Coverage when he just saw a Pass Catcher with Man-to-Man? If the QB has time, He shouldn't force it into Triple or Double Coverage way done the Field, He should start the Progressions over again and find the m2m Match-Up. I mean really, What is the point in having that "Open Man" shit in the QB's Player Tactics? I can understand he is going to Throw whoever he is looking at when a guys is in his face but it's like after the first cycle of the Progression, he says, O'well and just airs it out. This is stupid and very dangerous, I would rather he take the Sack or Throw it away than to do that and I cringe every Replay when I see a QB doing this.

Well , i do agree that play length, or pass velocity could be altogether faster , but also feel that regardless of either , a QB throwing to a receiver with 3 defenders in x radius is just asinine, especially deep throws , unless the situation is turning desperate, and thus
called for.

And furthermore on the subject of play length , if there is only triple coverage available after 3 or 4 seconds, it should be an automatic scramble or throw away, as called for by qb tactics.

You just dont throw to triples unless youre desperate , and only then.

just cause they know not to, doesn't mean they don't still do it.

NFL QBs do it more often than they should, and some do it more than others.

He's got a point but let's see what he says this coming Season when RG3 is doing that against my G-Men's Secondary and getting Pick's.

I hate to -1 this but this really seems much more like a game tweak than adding a box to check. Perhaps just adjusting the throwing percentages where, when trip coverages are in play, the percentage of "throw pass anyway" is much smaller... causing the QB to keep looking and get his butt sacked or chuck it to the ball boy on the sidelines.
