In another thread we are reminiscing about past seasons and the general concensus from those that are old enough to remember is that building dots in the early seasons was muc more fun, more immediate, than the slow building process we are now forced into if we want to compete at a high level.
That being said, maybe this would bring us back there . . .
Each season of a player's build there is a limit to how many SP's can be put into any one attribute, and all skill point must be spent by the end of the current season. You could actually use the current caps as guideline . . . season one you can't add point past 48 . . . season 2 it woould be 60 . . . and so on . . .
This would force agents to diversify builds across the build process rather than aiming for final builds. It would make the SIM more balanced and competitive across the levels. And it would add immediacy back into the game . . . what do I do to make my dots perform better today, rather than in 6 months . . .
