I have been a DC since season 3, and being a coordinator is the best part about GLB imo, or at least it was. Lately the game has just gotten stale, and i think most veteran players would agree.

I think we need to turn OFFENSE back up. 54-47 games are fun, even if my D is giving up 500+ yards a game. We need to have more FFs and more INTs, and we need to limit the roster size to 50 dots. This way every position can have some fun. this needs to get back to being a game, instead of a cool forum that also has some side game to it. I can only hang out in the General Discussion forum so long before my head will explode.

I would agree, only if the defense has the same effect

IE: More interceptions, more forced fumbles, more sacks and less hurries. This would offset the high volume offenses but without cancelling them out.

Let's say for instance a WR is wide open, the QB will be able to place the ball on a target that would lead them to a TD or a big gain. I say this because there would be a counter to the leading the WR which would be the CB being able to dive to save a TD score. These would be seldom, but much more frequent than they are occurring now (which is basically never).

So I completely agree with this, and to add to this... in regular leagues, find some way to let us add 4 specially designed plays that we can create on offense. I know this would through off defenses, but that is the point here. More Offense

yeah. 54-47 is fun, even for defense. maybe the game turned on a big stop, an INT, maybe even a return

I'd love it if they just got away from the realism crap. Bort got some terrible advice from some people who really didn't understand the pulse of the game and it has resulted in them trying to make the game look realistic in the box score even if it means cutting down on the enjoyability of dots.

Ideally I'd love to see a sim (assuming that coordination is even) where elite dots versus elite dots still put up stats not too far from the norm. When elite dots play average or below average dots they should put up cartoonlike numbers. No matter what I'd like to see big plays occasionally from every dot. CBs getting pick 6s, DTs getting sacks & FFs, HBs breaking off 20+ yard TD runs, QBs threading the needle to WRs for big plays that result in TDs, special teams dots scoring and forcing fumbles.

Overall I'd rather have games with inflated scores where teams can score in all three phases of the game and make highlight style plays more frequently than we have them now.

EDIT: This was better off in GLB main than here in suggestions. Admins at least occasionally pop in to GLB main, I can't remember the last time I saw one in suggestions.

Passing is fun as long as the QB is not constantly throwing into double and triple coverage
