Okay so this may have been brought up before but....when selling back a piece of AEQ I think the original purchase price or a portion of the original purchase price should be refunded. Most agents dont start shopping for AEQ until at least around level 50. From a fun perspective this sucks. I mean that is 4 seasons without any aeq. AEQ at the lower levels kinda suck, but its always fun to try and roll a piece for your lower level dot and then sell it as they mature. I am not saying to refund the rolls too just the 7 or 13 or 17, etc. points a piece may have cost.

Good perspective.

If for some reason Bort hates the concept maybe it could be made more palatable by limiting it to certain seasons, like only once and only the off season or preseason of a player's 3rd or 5th season, or maybe age based being only when he hits plateau so he can toss the kiddie knickers and put on the long pants as it were.

Though I guess in football they always wear the kiddie short pants but still.

So you want to buy a shirt or shoes, wear it for a couple of years, then take it back to get a full/partial refund? I think I'm going to try this at JCPennys, if it works that way in real life, then I'll plus one this bad boy.

my mom used to work at wally world, and meany people would do this very thing. not sure which is sadder, that people would do this, or that ally world usually gave their money back.

I remember working for a couple different retail chains, people used to bring stuff back, that they didn't purchase at the store, the item was never sold there, sometimes they would have the item in the bag of the store they purchased it at, even a couple times, they would hand over the receipt from the store they purchased it at. And argue with you, when you told them they didn't purchase it at the store, and then bitch about getting store credit.

Store credit, for something that you didn't buy at the store is a huge loss for that store, they can't return the item, they have to hope someone else buys it for a discount, and try to make back what they gave you for free.

People are assholes.

+1 for this or anything that lets you change the odd piece of AEQ between seasons in the same way you can switch regular EQ.

Buy something from REI, take it back 3 years later...full refund as long as you indicate a reason for the return.

I did it with a 4 year old pair of hiking boots and a 6 year old GPS. both gave me full refund of original purchase price.

Therefore, since it works for REI should work here.
