Basically, allow the coordinator to assign to each input and/or package the yardages that need to be gained or lost to cause an adjustment up, down, or no change. This would have no bearing on how much of an adjustment would occur based on the auto adjust settings, just allow for customizable yard increments to trigger the adjustments.
For example a running package you might want it to adjust up after a 5+ gain, stay neutral from 3-5 yards, and adjust down at 3 yards or less. Meanwhile, a general pass play you'd want to adjust down at no gain (incomplete), stay neutral at 3, and increase at 5. However, on a 3rd and 7+ input you'd probably adjust down anything that doesn't get you 7 yards. It's all in what the coordinator wants really, but this would conceivably give them more control over when the adjustments would happen, if not how much.
Edit: Just allow us to enter a value for adjust up, and a value for adjust down, and anything in between would be the no change value. That makes it least complicated.
