sort of annoying to see players run out of bounds just cause the route they are designed to run is scripted to run that way.

sad that this has to actually be a suggestion as it was supposed to be fixed already but......

Really?
Think about that. A wide receiver streak is only really effective if the WR can use her speed and agility to create separation over a 15 or 20 yrd distance. What might you expect a WR to do if on a streak route, from the 5 yrd line? That route is bound to fail when called from that distance.
I agree it's annoying. I'm annoyed with my self that I called a deep route on a short field.

but a WR would not be retarded and actually run the streak, he would go as far as he can do and than do something else or just stand there. He would not run out of bounds cause that is what his assignment was supposed to do.
plus my guy that did it was the TE and there are some plays where the WR routes are shorter than the TEs.
and another thing, there used to be something Bort had coded that would prevent long plays to be called within the 5, you were forced to call short plays. what happened to that?

in madden my WRs change their route when they hit the back of the endzone.
should probably do that in GLB.

this isnt real life either, should probably pick a play that doesnt make a WR run out of bounds that close to the endzone since this is a sim game.
Was stating that if Bort wants this realistic at all, he has to make the dots be able to change their routes like they allow players to do in madden, ncaa and all pro football.

They should break off the route once they get close to the back of the endzone, or turn it up field once they get close to the sideline.
Offensive dots should never go out of bounds without the ball as you can't be the first player to touch it if you do, hence commonsense would dictate they would not continue on those routes, regardless of when/where they were called.

I've tried that, the QB then decides to lead them out of the endzone and into the stands.

As evidenced by American Idol being the number 1 show on television on both Wednesday and Thursday nights..... common sense is not quite so common.

As a matter of fact I have.
On Wednesday I would much rather watch that new Betty White Show, or anything on ABC (especially the new Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 show).... and on Thursday there is Big Bang Theory, Person of Interest, and Missing.
All of these are better than the crap passed off as a great show. Unfortunately, one can never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups..... just look at our legislative branch.
