I posted in the bugs forum about my AI not calling the specific plays that I've asked for. It was tested and the AI was set up correctly but the problem I was having was this. I have no idea if this is a bug or working as intended. If it's working as intended this will now be my suggestion.
In the first quarter on 1st and 2nd downs I had the out put set to 100% pass - 5 WR. The primary receiver was left to (use basic settings). If the AI rolled a WR it used a 5 WR set but if it rolled for the TE, HB, or FB it chose a random play that had the called position in it. Since I specifically set it up to be a 5 WR set I think that the (use basic settings) should be limited to a WR only since that's all there is in the 5 WR.
The problem also exists with the Spread, Trips, Single back Big. Regardless of the basic settings I think the AI should be limited to the specific formation called. I may not care if it calls a WR or HB pass from a spread formation or a WR,TE, HB from the Single Back Big but you won't be able to do both from the basic settings.
My suggestion is this. Either limit the primary receiver it will call to the formation specified or possibly allow us to change the primary receiver settings for each formation.
