It is a common mistake (especially when creating new players) to accidentally link to a player's skill point page, such as this link:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/skill_points.pl?player_id=4243954

I propose that instead of redirecting the user to their home page, to instead redirect the player to their profile page, as 90% of the time that's where they wanted to go to begin with, so you would be auto-direct to this instead:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4243954

OMG ppl. Laziness everywhere i go. How hard is it to click "profile" then copy and paste the link.

i swear the user-base here is comprised of lazy asses and morons. If you cant take the extra 2 seconds to do it right yourself, without bort making some easy shortcut for you, then maybe just log out (which takes about the same amount of time)

No one in the thread made any notion of not being able to do it. The redirect is merely a convenience based on a fairly common mistake. No need to be a tool and throw insults.

+1 to the idea. It's one of the simple additions that, when in bulk, really go a long way in improving the site.
