you dont train for blocking. it would be a waste.
sure it HELPS in shedding blocks but not as much as agi and
strength does. plus its only one dimensional.
It's not as if your gonna play offense.
agi and strength could also be used in many things other than
shedding blocks unlike blocking.

I trained up my blocking after Bort said it helped shed blocks, but never saw an increase in sheding blocks at all. In fact it seems like I get stuck on blockers more now then I ever did before, but it that could be for lots of different reasons.

I've come to the conclusion that blocking is absolutely useless. Don't even start training it or putting points into it until you have almost "Perfected" your LB build.

I couldn't have said this any better myself. Work on AGI, SPD, and VIS as well as STR. Those stats all help you out in more than one way. It makes your player better overall. So in conclusion, don't train Blocking EVER! Ha!

For a defensive lineman, I've found blocking helped a tiny bit--but not enough to dump points into.

For an LB, it really won't help you unless you're being engaged in a block. For the most part, you'll never have enough strength to shed a block from an offensive lineman of your level, so your key is to just step around them and avoid it in the first place.
