I thought we were going to lose to be honest. I didn't think we'd be able to move the ball consistently against a team that was giving up around 6 yards rushing per GAME. Thankfully we got lucky and recovered a fumble on the opening kick off that gave us a short field to work with to get an opening drive TD. Take out that fumble and this game could look pretty different. After that first TD we only managed 1 more in the next 57 minutes of a solid game by both defenses.

Yeah, good game. I knew it was gonna be tough, we hadn't played a team of Bayou's caliber yet. Granted, we've played a few tougher teams. Hopefully we'll tighten our run D right back up.

Congrats on the win, Bayou. Man I am dreading having to play Toronto and Bayou on back to back weeks...

NOBODY wants to play Toronto... They should finish first in the conference, but I think in any given week, Bayou, Toronto, Maryland, or Pittsburgh could lead the conference. And, I don't say that to discount Huntsville or Orlando or Battle Creek or any of the other first-tier teams.

Agreed on the subject of Toronto. Together with the Steel they are my favorites to be promoted out of BBB this season. I thought one of those two was going to win last season.

But I think you might be confused Josh, one of the teams you list has a losing record and the combined record of all the 3 teams they have beat is 2-22.

Ah, that makes sense. I mean no disrespect, it is hard to win against any team that can come up with a good game plan and some of the teams with losing records had me almost as nervous before the sim as the teams with one or no losses for just that reason. Our conference only has a couple of really weak teams that aren't competitive to be sure. Some of the teams just had a good base to start building a team early (lots of friends that made multiple players for the team or that had players from season 1 to bring over etc) and since this is only the league's second season that advantage is more noticeable.

Lol, I know we aren't a first tier team yet. There still is a lot of improving needed to be done and looking at the schedule it will be fight to make the playoffs as an 8 seed. We can really only afford to lose 2 games with Toronto, Bayou, Orlando, ect still on the schedule.

You'll need luck next week Bayou. Orlando took us by one point and we're thirsty for blood.

Tell me about it...0-2 for us against them back-to-back. Although we came really close against Toronto. Too bad this isn't horseshoes.
