A 72 yard field goal attempt... Nice.
In the history of the NFL regular season only 9 field goals have been made from over 60 yards. (I know this isn't the NFL).
I am tired of logging on to see that my kicker has missed from 65+ yards. Especially on attempts where they were not to end the half/game and the score was not in jeopardy.
Maybe we should adjust the max field goal attempt for CPU planned games?

Seems like incentive to sign to a human-controlled team.

I've been begging the admins to get rid of D-leagues above rookie/sophomore level.

They'd go work in a burger bar somewhere.

D-leagues for the higher up players should be removed.

I'd have to disagree. There always has to be a place for any player who cannot get signed to a human owned team. There will always either be a lack of players or an excess of players. I think it is better to have an excess so that if someone stops playing a replacement can be found.

Eliminating D leagues only reduces their ability to choose for their players where they want to be. It may not be the optimal solution but it is better than leaving people without a team to sign to (keep in mind not all teams with CPU players have CPU's because they couldn't find someone to sign) and having them unable to keep up if they want to keep going and try to find a team in the future. Or if they are on a team that guts and are unable to find a replacement team to move to before they start losing XP.

lol

Hopefully they would get the message and retire the QB and make a player that is actually needed.

There are far too many teams outside the D-leagues that need players. Adding the higher level D-leagues basically added another league type to this game. Might as well go ahead and add casual peewee, iron man leagues, casual with AI but no custom slots/DPC, custom/make you own league, ect...

In a time when this game needed league contraction it was pants on head retarded to add higher level D-leagues. Giving people a ton of options has helped drive this game into the ground. Whether it be forums, league types, or teams.

way way way more than enough cpu controlled teams to handle the d league load. maybe a few worthless qb and hb wont find teams but thats a good thing IMO.

Yeah, if this was 2008/2009 I would have no problem with higher level D-leagues. I love this game but unfortunately this is another example of Bort and Co. adding something way too late.

For the record, I'm not for getting rid of the D-league teams. They have their purpose. My feelings are to just create more incentives to join a human-owned team. Leave the D-leagues as a place as a last resort to sign. Lets face it, a good percentage of the dots in the higher leveled D-league teams (non-boosters for example) just plain suck to the point where no one would want them anyways.
