Okay the play I was complaining about may not be a bug on further examination. I blinked apparently and did not see the movement of the receiver. Same match up later in game made it clearer what was happening.
That said, there have been many instances where a play is screwed up and it lingers in the game for half or more of a season, being exploited and fouling up games and in general pissing people off.
Why not disable these buggy plays when detected rather than leave them in the system while a fix is found?
