Folks have shown an interest in watching a game "live". And others have dreamed about live play calling. But the nature of the sim makes that tough.
But what about in special circumstances doing something that comes close?
Why not for playoff games (or if thats too much, just championship games, or just World League Championship Games or Tourney Championships etc whatever works for Bort) when BOTH teams check box a request for the opportunity at least 24 hours prior to game time, allow teams to Kinda call the game live.
How you say?
Sim the first half of the game.
30 minutes later, sim the second half.
Allow the AIs and Packages and Depth Charts (but not DPCs) to be altered during that 30 minutes (or 60 or 120 whatever seems doable).
Insane? Impossible? Desirable? Not? Or Uber Cool?
Just a thought. Probably been suggested before, but interested in hearing peoples insights and inputs.
