Warrior General Games

Implement an "ENABLE" button for email and text alerts. Options that could be sent via an alert could be:

Contract Offers
Game Scores
Training Alerts
Quick Scrimmage Received
GM and Team Messages
PM's

Each agent could enable the alert feature and select which alerts would be sent to them or if any would be sent at all.

I wouldnt mind email alerts for PM's and game scores of a team that you are a GM or owner of but all other alerts I think would be too much. Especially in the offseason.

I don't think most people would want their inboxs spammed with stuff from GLB. how hard is it to actually log on for 5 minutes and check things like were listed.

it would be an option and you could just make it to where it just forwards messages/alerts... not everyone has an ipod touch and can get on at the snap of a finger

I don't have a Ipod touch either but I am still able to get onto a computer and check the site a couple times a day. and I for one do not want to get a ton of texts or emails pertaining to the game. that is just my opinion on the suggestion.

If a quick scrimmage is sent, you may miss it without a notification... If your offered a contract, you might miss the opportunity to sign if they offered other teams...If you sent a PM to somebody and are waiting for a response, you don't want to log in every 15 minutes to see if they replied...

These reasons are beyond logging in everyday. There is times that GM's/Owners need to respond in a more timely manner...

yes and there are times that a player will get 100 freaking offers non of which I want to get a text or email pertaining to. while the suggestion may be useful to a few players on the game. It would be a nuissance to just as many if not more players on the game.

I'd never use it.

so I guess sorta plus 1 as an option.

if there's a checkbox, I'd love that.

PM's would get my attention quicker if I got emailed, I would likely turn that on, so +1 from me.

It's optional though, hence the enable button.
don't see any reason to -1 this for those who'd like it.

If it helps keep people engaged and would be customizable/optional, I don't see a downside for the enduser. +1
