real world stats do this but in GLB if a receiver catches a pass and goes 50 yards and then fumbles, it is like he never had the ball. It is the same on rushes. A HB goes for a long gain (or short) and he fumbles and it was like the play started with the fumble. Please fix.

I think - though I'm not certain - that this is a recent change to be a quick hotfix to the negative yards bug. Basically, in the past, if you fumbled after a catch, you would get negative yards that were equal to YAC value. In other words, the QB passes 5 yards downfield and you catch it and run 10 yards and then fumble. You would have gotten -10 yards receiving. My guess is that the routine that calculates reception yards is somehow complex and will take a bit of reworking to fix that issue. So rather than waiting until he has time to address it and redo the whole routine, he just disabled triggering it on fumble plays and left it as a zero rather than a -10.

nope. It has been going on for quite some time. I have a WR that retired prob 10 seasons ago that I can remember this happening to on multiple occasions.
