There is no reason for the offense to kick a FG on 3rd with plenty of timeouts on hand at the start of the drive, only to kick a FG on 3rd down and let the other team get the ball back with enough time to score a FG of their own. You would think a QB would know enough to run the clock down, and they do in real life. This is not an accurate simulation.

a 22 yard pass play that only takes 5 secs off the clock is pretty stupid.

kicker's name is Graham Gano and he's terrible, there's your problem.

I was at the game on 11/20 vs Dallas. He's the reason the Skins lost.

OP neglected to mention that he's working with a casual team.

+1 to the concept expressed by the OP, but I want to see more specifics. For example, in the situation described, QB Black II should have been able to run the clock and spike the ball on 3rd down with :01 remaining.

Most WR can run a 40-yard dash in under 5 seconds

I don't think it's unrealistic at all

+ the 2-3 seconds needed by a QB to find the guy

yeah he had a bad night, but you realize that this is his 2nd nfl season and after that game he was perfect for the remainder of the season, with the exception of a block vs seattle and one against Philadelphia, which wasn't his fault obviously

so going 15/17, which should have been 17/17 is pretty good and quite promising. but I see you are one of "those" kind of skins fans...

looks like we are re-signing him, let's see how he does in his 3rd season before criticizing him.

I'd rather be "one of those kind of skins fan" than any type of Dallas fan

I would rather you be a real skins fan like me, than one of those type of fans, you may as well be a dallas fan since you give up on your team and their players so easily.

if you can't see that Gano has improved, you are blind.

I've seen plays in the NFL where the QB knows exactly who he's gonna throw to before the snap and he launches it immediately when they're trying to beat the clock. 5 seconds for 22 yards can be done
