We should be able to rename the team more then once. One Example of needing this is if you buy the team and then 2-3 seasons later want to join a network with that team and you want to change the name to have something to do with that network, you can't. You have to buy a new team.

In my current case. Next season, my pee wee team is going to join a private league and they are specific team names and I would like to keep the team i have (as they will most likely take home silver and possibly gold)

This is just a spitball idea that I thought of so feel free to elaborate.

PS: This is more towards Pee Wee Teams/ Teams looking to restart but it wouldn't be fair if they got to rename and other teams didn't

If you need to change your name you can message support and they likely will change the name for you.

As long as you aren't trying to change it all the time.

was unaware of this, thanks but idea is still on the table, (Since it wouldn't be to much of a change)

yes, but limit 1 or 2 changes per season max

I would say just one since there are only a few reasons to need to change the name. (Two would be fine as it would allow for a bit more freedom)

Is there any good reason to limit the number of times a team can change its name?

Two would be pretty sweet. I could change the team names to something really offensive and then change it back.

I would say less often then once every season but every 2-3 seasons I agree

that would still mean that they couldn't change it after a season with the team.

I was thiking along the lines of once when you first buy the team(or any time after that) and then add them on later as seasons go.

I think being allowed to change the names every season is ok but it would take a little away from "rivalries". When it comes down to the big picture I don't really know how much rivalries really even mean in this game if anything at all, but from personal experince, I have owned a peewee team for 6 seasons now, going on 7. Over the 6-7 Seasons I really developed some rivalries that for a while were the only reason I bothered keeping the team.

I would prefer a name change per every season to the current system but i personaly would rather see it be only every 2-3 seasons.

You don't have to change the team name... It is simply an OPTION and the owner stays the same... the players stay the same... the scrimages stay the same... only thing that changes is the team name so it doesn't effect a rivalry at all
