i understand why so many think that shopping is a waste of time. shopping is such a huge crap shoot, especially for STOPs. you can go on many many trips w/o getting anything close to what you are looking for. then, POOF, there they are, not one but two perfect pieces of aeq. but currently, we can only buy 1 or the other. just so that there is some pain involved, after buying the 1st piece, the remaining prices go up 25%, then if you buy it, then the remaining pieces go up another 25%, etc.

theoretically, the coding should be simple. instead of resetting the shopping when a piece is bought, just remove the purchased piece and raise the remaining prices by 25%.

yeah shopping for stop OL is a horrible idea. The way they have it set up sucks for them.

I'd be ok with it, but as mentioned, it's probably working for GLB in terms of cost vs benefit. By allowing you to buy 2 or more pieces that show up it potentially reduces the cost to shop.

+1, i'd even go so far as to say you can buy anything that is there, even if you get lucky and get 4 useful items in one roll.

yeah, my example only mentioned buying 2, but the items would all stay there at the 25% increase until you go shopping again. my coding example was meant to cover that. so if you started with 6 items, buy 1, the remaining 5 would go up 25%, then if you buy another, the remaining 4 would go up another 25%, and so on.

you could even raise the 25% to 50% instead if it was deemed that 25% would be too low.
