Also, the preset AIs don't work that way.

I think what the OP is addressing is that the biggest problem that the presets have created for casual owners is that they now have less control of their team.

If they want to have their QB rush much at all, they have to pick Wildcat, and then their QB will rush the exact standardized amount in the Wildcat AI.

I don't think much of casual, but I feel bad for casual owners nonetheless that their ability to set percentages for play types is gone (unless they take on the disadvantage of not using the AIs at all).

That's not exactly true. Rushing QBs were in Casual long before preset AIs were available and ran just fine. See: any Catch22 casual team. Of course, you know this because you said as much in your last paragraph.

Given the complexity of defending against a pure rushing and a pure passing QB on the same team -- a complexity not available to casual teams (lol Tagged preset) -- there shouldn't be any issue with hamstringing a casual team that wants to use both QB types.

If you do that though then you force people to have to use the pre-set AI's to defend that type of offense. and most people I know aren't using the AI's they are still using the old way. which is alot less random and gives alot more freedom of what you are trying to do. so as I stated above the AI's were unwanted and so is this suggestion.
