Just a question I thought up. In many situations, do you think a potential INT becomes a PD once a CB drops it (with low catching of course)? Speed of course is another factor, but with so many passes defended you'd think a cornerback could reach enough to come up with an interception. It's just a theory of mine that I'm sure has some truth to it but I can't really answer this myself unless I (or someone else) raise my catching, which I'm actually considering.

What does everyone else think?

Well, if you go for the interception and only manage to tip it, logically it would be a pass deflection. But then, sometimes CBs actually go for the swat, which is also labelled a pass deflection. Sure, some of the pass deflections would have been an attempt to intercept, but I believe at least half the time, your CB is actually just trying to swat down the pass. Of course it depends on how you set your interception thing.
