I did strength second, but I ended up spending the extra SP at the end to make them pull even. Really depends on what you want for your end build. Take some time to plan it out now- you won't regret it.

What about alternating between them since they are probably equal in terms of their importance?

For example:
Take Strength to 48.
Then, take vision to 48 and 60.
Next, take strength to 60 and 68.
etc. etc.

No you want to take one up first so you get the level gains at the highest possible point. A .25 increase at 48 is crap, a .25 increase at 90 is something. Like the 1st guy said youll probably need to spend more SP on #3 but im sure itll be less than alternating them.

I have done Throwing first and vision second with my deep passer. (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2532105)

After vision i am going to take strength up which shouldn't take long and then confidence..
