Their were surprisingly many votes, many votes and a few of the awards surprisingly turned out different. The awards system was very balanced where no one player dominated the award voting. But enough time wasting, you guys are already overdue for the results.
The Johnston trophy goes to . . . . Slowbuild LB! - Honolulu Hurricane Wife Carriers - http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2060653
The Ed'Obrien trophy goes to . . . . Paul McCartney! - Cincinnati Shockers - http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1975316
The Knight trophy goes to . . . . Eric Tile! - Carthage Clash - http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1815543
The Blakwood trophy goes to . . . Jon Brantley! - Cincinnati Shockers - http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2000966
The Geinsmann award goes to . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . .Eric Tile! Wait what? Eric Tile! That's right he won it. - Carthage Clash - http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1815543
There weren't many surprises but there was one in the most important trophy, Eric Tile won the Geinsman trophy for the best World League player according to the forumers not the league system. But enough about the shocks and unshocks let's talk about why these players won what they did. And hopefully next year an HB will rush for more than 2,000 yards for the first time in 3 seasons.
Slowbuild LB - Made 80 tackles and according to his stats, he averaged a force fumble after every 4 tackles and a sack out of every 2 tackles!. Honolulu Wife Carriers will need him to play greatly in the play offs if they are to win the trophy.
Paul McCartney - Although not a wide receiver won the best receiver award after he had a staggering 74 catches, pretty good for a Tight End. The Cincinnati Shockers will go to the play offs as the number 1 seed in the Zeta conference, and will need more catches from him and more touchdowns.
Jon Brantley - Was the most important player for Cincinnati and played a huge part in the award the bove player Paul McCartney received. Averaging 342.9 yards a game and 3 TDS a game. Threw a few to many picks for my liking, and will need to cut down on that in the play offs.
Eric Tile - Alright, Alright, Alright you going learn today. But he walked away with two trophies including the most important one the Geinsman. He didn't reach 2,000 yards but played a very good NFL type rushing season. I don't think Carthage Clash will go very long in the play offs but if they do, it will be up to me. Played a poor season for me, didn't score a single receiving touchdown, fumbled the ball 9 times, only scored 11 rushing touchdowns and played poorly against big teams. But I didn't vote you guys did.
That's it for this season. Until next season.
