I have been having a hard situation, but planning on making my comeback to GLB. I have been OC since Season 14 and have made the playoffs 88% of the times. I have a set formula that works and has been tested. Won the Conference Championship 3 times and League Championship 1 time. I have a strict list of requirements and I have my reasoning for why I have them.

Requirements:

1. Must be a Gold Trophy standard team.
2. Active forums.
3. I have full control of the offense without anyone else messing and making changes. I don't care who you are, even if your the owner, I worked to build my gameplans and I know how they run and will be the only who makes adjustments.
4. No demands. I don't take kindly to being told what to do.
5. Full support.

If one of these is broken and I catch it. I will issue 1 warning. In that case you get a chance to fix the problem. If it happens a 2nd time I immediately drop your team and you will have to contact me and explain your thinking. I will then judge if it is worth my time to come back. If I do come back and it happens a 3rd time I drop and we part ways.

I don't wanna sound like a jerk, because I am a nice guy and easy to get along with, but I don't like wasting my limited time with teams who don't care. If your one of those teams then hire a newer OC and let them perfect their style.

Contact me through a message, and it must be fully detailed and written out. I don't respond to short messages. If you send me a short message I think that I am not worth your time, or you just don't respect me.

I understand you want to OC a team, but you think an OC of an NFL team can tell the owner no when they say to do something? If you think the answer is yes, then I think you need to look at the Tennessee Titans a few seasons back when Vince Young was there and the owner flat out said, he will start. Guess what, he started the following game.

If the owner of a team in GLB says they want something, and you can't give a legit reason (outside of this is my offense), then you will not last long as an OC. The good owners wouldn't tell you, they would ask you what you thought about it.

I tend to agree with the others, you need to learn some people skills because if I was looking for an OC (more looking for a DC not an OC), I wouldn't think twice about ignoring you.

I don't get how he has made playoffs 88% of the time , someone would actually do the math on that?

I have an OC , and I pretty much give him 100% full control of everything offense related. He is doing great, or I may have looked more into this person.

It's really not a bad thing he is asking for, sometimes (like in my case) that is exactly what an owner wants.

Anyways, good luck to the OP'r

O right right. Is that why my game plan was installed and then you hired a 2nd OC who then went in and changed it?

Exactly. How many Owners want a guy to come in and not take control? Coaching is about management and you can't have 2 managers. Owners want wins and that's what my job is.

So people skills is attacking someone? I just got tired of my game plans getting messed with and changed. Not too much to ask for. I have a way I run things and it works for me. I can't think of one coordinator who liked his tactics being changed or over written. Also, opinions are like noses. Everyone has one. If you don't like what i ask for then don't hire me. Doesn't mean I won't find teams.

Look I have no issue with you wanting full control of the offense, my OC has full control of my offense. Every OC I have had has had full control of my offense. My issue, and I think the others issue, is you're sitting here saying that the owner can not tell you what he wants to see. He is the owner of the team, not you. He put the FP into buying the team. In some cases, like myself, that's not where it stops, some create and boost every single player on the team. So they have the RIGHT to tell you what they want to see because it's their flex that is being used, not yours.

The good owners wouldn't tell you as much as suggest it to you. You know the offense, and if it is truly something that isn't possible, then you'd be able to give a LEGIT reason as to why, not "This is my offense, I will do what I want to do regardless to who owns the team". People skills come into play here. Now if the owner came in and changed your tactics to what they want, then yes you have the right to get pissed and leave with your tactics, but good owners don't do that.

No one is saying you should just let anyone and everyone come in to mess with it, but show some respect to the owner's who may hire you and stop acting like you're so good they would be fools to not "obey" your demands.

Now if you were a DC I may look into you because at least you're willing to stand up for what you believe. I can respect that.
