You'd need a way to make it objective (criteria for what objectively qualifies someone).

Would have tl discount the inactive and banned players. Would have to set something up to add and delete players,
Most users wouldnt care.

This might be more feasible after they add agent achievements.

Not inactives, that would kinda defeat the whole point of a hall of fame.

Even Banned, unless they were banned for game cheats. Forum Bans shouldn't play into it.

As for the care, possibly. But some might so why not.

Well Halls of Fame have different areas.

So maybe

Owned Teams Records.

Owned Team Championships

Owned Team Longevity (face it some people get in the Hall by being around along time).

Forum Suggestions that make it to the Epic list

Forum Bug Reports Accepted

Owned Teams who had an MVP for their League (good coaching/recruiting)

Owned Teams lowest percentage of CPU players (or not)

Dots WIth MVPs

Dots in HoF when they get a real one.

Agent with Highest Average Effective Level for Dots level 70(?) and above

Agent with highest average player career with same teams (other than Agents teams).

HC OC DC winning Percentages, Championships

All of the above with Tournaments.

Survivor Wins

Stuff like that would all be objective and indicative of being a good owner or good dot builder or as the last just plain lucky.

a players HoF should be about the game itself and not about how many suggestions, Bans, amount of CPU's on a team or any other stuff not pertaining to dotball.

In real life players make the HoF for their play on the field. their coaching abilities(win/loss record mostly and amount of championships won)

so I see these as being viable options on how a player would make it.

1.) Number of championships won as a coordinator.
2.) Number of MVP's the agents players have won.
3.) Number of championships a agents players have won.
4.) number of agents players that are in the HoF for Dots.
5.) Winning percentage as a Owner, Coordinator.

In real life they include in the hall of fame sportswriters and sports casters actually. There are lots of plaques and statues in the nooks and crannies of a hall of fame. No reason not to include a variety of activities the Devs would like to recognize and reward in your Hall.

are there any damn sports writers recognized in GLB? Did GLB add sportscasters since the last game I watched?

the answer to both is no. so why should GLB make up a bunch of freaking random trophies to give out for basically just participating? This isn't some little league baseball game where you get a ribbon for just showing up. a HpF is supposed to show the best of the best. the top players or coaches in the game. No one is going to give a rats ass about how long someone owned a team unless that team was successful. if the team wasn't successful then it becomes a joke. who cares if a team has a bunch of CPU dots on it if the team is successful.

In short a HoF is supposed to be a recognition for being one of the best at the game. It is supposed to mean something and supposed to make others want to work harder to possibly make it there someday. a HoF isn't supposed to be set-up to just reward people for showing up or doing some crappy job of just participating.
