I have a level 11 DT and each game he takes a hugh pounding usually around 58 Energy after the game. I know this usually means low stamina but I would like some feedback here are his attribs:

Str 39.68.....Blck 16.25.....Pass rush
Sp 22.28.....Tckl 32.68.....3 3 3 3 2
Ag 33.68.....Thrw 7
Jmp 9.89.....Ctch 7........Run Stuff
Sta 33........crry 9........1 2 0 0 0
Vis 13........kck 8
Con 12........pnt 10

yeah, every down NT or DT should have at least 40-45 energy.

are you on drugs?

To the original poster: don't listen to this dumbass. The reason you are getting pounded is because your STR is really low. Boost STR significantly and you'll see your post-game energy improve.

The poor quality of some of the advice given out on these boards is mind-boggling.

I totally agree with Ari, you need to get that STR up, your getting man handled!! Here is my LV 13 DT, I dont play as many plays as you but thats not the point, compare some stats and take a different approach to your build

Strength: 57.03 Blocking: 12.89
Speed: 32.42 Tackling: 26.74
Agility: 54.03 Throwing: 10
Jumping: 9 Catching: 7
Stamina: 21.93 Carrying: 8
Vision: 16.09 Kicking: 7
Confidence: 16.64 Punting: 8

all 1's in the pass rush SA tree

Irish, Thanks for the information I can see that I am on the right track even though I got off to a slow start I am building strenght with each lvl I get my next five go into STR only. I think my speed and agility need help too.

Strength, like the above posters said. Strength is your key stat, makes it so you dont get pushed around, and you can do some pushing yourself. Your out of energy because you are being pancaked a lot (due to low strength).

+1. It also figures in the activation of shed block, strong base, and break through if I remember correctly, allowing you to stuff some running plays in the backfield rather than being pushed back 3-4 yards first.

I don't think it was bad advice. Yes, he needs Strength first and foremost, but NT burn energy like a motha fighting off double teams. Certainly needs more stamina than any of my other players.

I can get away with 25 stamina for my lvl 16 DT. As someone else said your strength can play a big role in your stamina. I've yet to fall below 70 stamina after a game this season. This is with roughly 50 plays/game.

But yeah Jockitch, lay off the SA for a bit. They definitely help, but your raw attributes are much more important for the growth of your player.

Then you should check your STR. Even when my NT was starting, he never had a stam problem because STR was consistently high for his level.

Pump up strength, till 50 at least. Then put all of your equipment into it.

I've got a starting DT/NT with 35 stamina and he has no energy issues.
