Might just be a coincidence, but I've never seen so many badly thrown screen passes as in my team's game tonight - looked like the QB was trying to lead the receiver and messed it up so many times. Anyone else noticed anything like this?

Yea I also noticed it for the first time tonight...Many of them were thrown way out in front

Weird. I've watched plenty of games this season, and not seen anything like tonight. And yeah, way out in front, almost all the time.

Is it a bug or was there some change by bort? I didn't see it anywhere in the bugs forum

that was really bad, though some screens worked

I know there was a change in leading receivers. First time I have seen this.

Really, though, if anyone else is seeing stuff like this, perhaps keep a record of it. If I see it again, I'll take it to bugs, although I guess it would just get the usual "low level dots" response. But it makes no sense that a QB who can make perfectly decent longer passes on a regular basis should suddenly start throwing that junk, only on screens, play after play. Some screens did work, as LE says, but there's enough there to make me think something is wrong.

Had a private scrim a couple of days back: same thing happening, over and over again. Good QB builds, throwing junk to HBs. I'm wondering if it is only certain screen plays that are now prone to this "throw ahead of receiver" happening.

And sure, screen-heavy games are boring. But if it carries on like this, (some) screens don't look viable full stop.

I like it , they connect about 30% right now, I hate facing all screen offense. Balances out the defense over running them

I'd be happier if they were balanced by ... oh I dunno... defenses noticing them faster and not overrunning like crazy. Right now it just looks goofy. Derp derp QB derp derp.
