TBH, my lvl 75 DT has 80 tacking and 30 jumping atm, most of his attempts are diving tackles and man does he miss a lot of them, thats why I would think 70's isnt enough, but if 80 is still not enough maybe your right on just forgoing it and making him more effective elsewhere. (Also have a MT% piece on my DT).

I forget whether or not that's true. I remember pulling some data, but the only conclusion I remember is that DTs do have a lot more diving attempts than I would have believed.
