Seriously... it's day -3 during the holidays and sign ups are closed with a ridiculous amount of byes.

Also the bye's are simply based on the number of teams. If 33 teams entered you are going to have 31 teams getting a bye.
Perhaps leaving it open longer during a holiday might get a few more teams, but they have been open for many days and shouldn't wait till after christmas or some other holiday to make your decisions.
They made it clear when the shutoff date was for the GLB tourneys, so it shouldn't have been a surprise.
-1 Not for the reasons above, but mainly because i don't want them running later in the season and possibly getting in the way of the regular season as much. .
