Yes everyone who has bad chemistry sucks and you would never ever be in that situation should I should just ban myself from GLB and not whine about it, etc etc etc. Thank you luddites for your support.

However, the non luddite world knows that starting your season out with tanked chemistry is a lousy situation to be in. The game just blows, you basically can write off your season, which means "Too bad come back in 50 days or so and try again next time, assuming anyone stays with your lame azz team after that chemical nightmare season you got coming".

Thats not exactly "fun" gaming, is it?

When I was orienting on a T-33 trainer back in the day, one of the safety devices was a big metal red thing shaped like a combat knife in the grip and like a dull knife/chisel kinda thing on the business end. The purpose of it, I was briefed, was to break the canopy should the canopy fail to jettison in an emergency. So if your plane was crashing and you wanted to eject but the canopy was stuck, you were to smash the glass and then climb out of the plane and bail. "Does that really work?" seemed a natural question. "Not really, but it gives you something to do on the ride in" was the reply.

Give us something to do when we are facing a chemistry induced bad trip of a season, GLB!

Give us some sort of activity, be it a team financial thing (retreats to exotic locations, swedish masseusses at training camp, extra large snack bars at camp and games etc), or a coaching ability thing (a tactical setting that somehow tweaks chemistry over something else), or a return of the player based Mentor VA but that just regenerates team chemistry or make it an additional power of Natural Leader etc etc etc.

SOMETHING

Give me something to do other than stare at a creeping chemistry marker ticking up two points a day.

come on Yello1 your suggestions are getting worse and worse man seriously. everyone has to deal with bad chemistry when you do not keep teams together for more than a season. or when you start a team from scratch. If you do not want to deal with the chemistry recruit agents that will stay with the team long term. It shouldn't be on GLB to make things up just to make up for your problems as a owner.

seriously you are suggesting this and the other day you suggested owning more teams. well here is a news flash owning more teams would essentially make your teams chemistry even worse. so maybe before wasting everyones time with so many suggestions. take the time to stop and think about what you are suggesting.

I believe my first paragraph has already responded to your post.

Blaming the customer is not how one stays in business, my friend.

If your game has a "feature" that involves boring and frustrating your client, and your business is entertainment, then it would behoove you to fix that feature by replacing it with something funnerer.

I see it like this yello1 as much as you bitch and moan about the game and are constantly wanting something free added to the game. why don't you just quit the game? if it is so bad that you have to constantly whine about it just leave. I like many others do not mind the occasional bad suggestion. hell I have made some bad ones before myself. but I do not make a million suggestions each week and act as if the game is completely broken. I like most users will roll with the punches on the game and make the best of my experience on the game.

so my advice to you is if the game is so broken that you think so little of it then by all means see yourself out and don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

-1: don't blow up the entire team & screw up the Chemistry in an overwhelming fashion. It is and has been part of the game. There has to be a penalty of some sort.

No Soup For Me?

They have suggestion forums for a reason you realize.

If we are supposed to think the game is perfect as is, they would not have a suggestions forum, would not have a voting for suggestions process, and they would not call the game Beta.

But it needn't be so severe, nor need it be something you can do nothing about to fix it.

Frankly the entire chemistry thing is way overblown. College Football clubs replace huge sections of the team every season. With Free Agency the Pros do it nearly as often as well. The end result is not teams that cant play with each other or run around the locker room shooting at each other.

And there are things the teams do to work on chemistry as well. Team Leaders, Coaching, Minicamps etc.

GLB should have the same ability.

And, as noted in the OP, for pure game design reasons you should never allow your player to paint himself into an unescapable corner of misery as a routine part of the game. Its just bad game design and a poor business decision.

Bort already gave us a way to raise chemistry.... time.

It replenishes as the season goes on.
