1. Marblehead Longhorns - any time you have a WL demote that didn't gut they are going to be a favorite. They have proven they have what it takes and until proven otherwise they are cream of the crop.

2. Orlando Prime Timers - Two seasons removed from WL they come to OPL thinking they will cruise to WL. I am pretty sure there are 15 teams that want to keep that from happening.

3. The GlobeDotters: Eastern Anubis Gurupies - They were 1 game away from WL last season. That alone leads me to believe they are a legit contender.

4. Banzai Pipeline 'Nites - Line Mafia Likely over rated but I am doing the rankings so

5. Brantford Promnight Dumpster Babies - 5-11 last season and out to prove that was a fluke.

6. Grocery Baggers - This team has been a legit contender and will remain to be a contender.

7. Sydney Sharks - another legit contender and I don't see that changing

8. Cork City Chronic Hugos - This team is young and will likely rise up the ranks as the season progress.

9. Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience - Looks like this could be another team with potential to rise among the ranks

10. OffTopica Miracle - could be a contender but some solid teams above them that they would have to take out.

11. SWAT City Vigilantes - rumor is they have a oretty good QB might surprise some people but until then here is where i put them

12. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts - might surprise some people but until then here is where i put them

13. Bourbontown BlueCats - might surprise some people but until then here is where i put them

14. Atlantis Aquatic Apes - might surprise some people but until then here is where i put them

15. Nigeria Nightmares - CPU roster

16. All Good Things - 16 real dots rest CPU

There is one major thing that has me confused about this post. Marblehead, a team you happen to be the GM of lol, is the Favorite to win Alpha.

Yet they didn't even make the playoffs last season, while EAG, as you said, was one game away from playing the Championship.

But hey they're your rankings Personally, I'd put Marblehead much closer to the 10 spot.

Alright, here's my crappy shot at it:

1 - The GlobeDotters: Eastern Anubis Gurupies: They are the class of this conference until proven otherwise.

2 - Cork City Chronic Hugos: Yes, they are a few levels lower than the rest, but they will make the playoffs regardless. When they boost for the second round, I'd hate to be their opponent.

3 - Grocery Baggers: 3rd last time, 3rd this time. When the games start, that may or may not be the case.

4 - Banzai Pipeline 'Nites: Solid team that should win most of their games.

5 - Marblehead Longhorns: Roster looks a little better than last season. Will they live up to it?

6 - Sydney Sharks: Another good team that is going to give most teams in this conference a real headache, even some ranked above them.

7 - Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience: Underperformed their potential last season, IMO. They will be a playoff team this time.

8 - Orlando Prime Timers: Should make the playoffs this time.

9 - OffTopica Miracle: Made the playoffs last season, but might be on the outside looking in this time. Best chance of the remainder to edge their way in.

10 - SWAT City Vigilantes: Don't see all that roster turnover translating into much improvement.

11 - Brantford Promnight Dumpster Babies: Lots of turnover and shattered chemistry; don't think there will be enough roster improvement to compete with the top third of the conference.

12 - Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts: They'll have a better record than last season, but not by enough.

13 - Atlantis Aquatic Apes: Shouldn't surprise anyone..

14 - Bourbontown BlueCats: Shouldn't surprise anyone.

15 - All Good Things: Nearly all CPU roster.

16 - Nigeria Nightmares: All CPU roster.


Alright, trash this as much as you want. But it should give us something to talk about.

Took less than 10 minutes. No work today and Christmas shopping done. Wife's at work, no games to watch, and the last thing I want to do is go anywhere and deal with the drivers that are on the road only on Sundays and around holidays. Shit, I wish it took longer to do!

I for one still pay good money to play this freakin' game. Forums are a part of that (sometimes). You don't like it, don't read it, but don't tell other people how to enjoy the game, strom.
