In the change log it says they turned up the bullet settings for short passes, which in practice looks awful and unrealistic (as QBs don't throw the ball their hardest when peeps are 2 feet in front of them).

Instead, the current bullet-lofty slider is fine, but how about we have the ability to have several sliders, based on where the ball is targetted (ie not the pass distance, but if a ball caught with 0 yac = 15 yard play, then for the purpose of these sliders, that = 15 yards).

3 sliders...

4.99 to -10 (includes screens)
5 to 14.99
15+

This would vastly improve the quality of life, while also not forcing every team in GLB to throw nasty bullet passes at 25 catching HBs on screens.

seems pretty stupid tbh. why not just make the hb passes lofty and the slants/quick passes bullet...

This all it should be is a QB vision check. then based on that he adjusts the throw to meet the distance needed

These sliders have zero zitch zilch nothing to do with how far the ball is thrown. Rather it is just the angle/speed of the pass. QBs already have a vision check for lead mechanics.

#1, anything on the lofty side of the slider is 100% worthless.

#2, I'd be fine with GLB removing the outdated QB tactics and just auto-decide passing angles for all the passes, but just saying that the current system is flawed, and trying to slight a dotball through a HB on a screen does not look like football.

Thats my point. You set it to say 50 bullet. Regardless of the distance the WR is he will throw 50 bullet. If he is 25 yards down field you don't want to throw a pass with that low of trajectory. You want it to be more lofty to get over the hands of the secondary.

i personally think throws should just be from stats. Vision to be able to see how far the target is, strength to get the distance, throwing for the right angle/type of ball thrown.

dont really need more sliders imo.

This is what ive been hoping for. Vision check to make sure he gets it right then exactly what you had there

Yea I'm with the "get rid of all sliders" crowd.

Each type of play/throw should have different requirements/preferences.
