I'm just getting back into the game, and I'm wondering what to do with these bonus tokens first. Multitrain? AEQ? And for AEQ should I wait until I have enough to get +3 speed and 5% catch ball (which is like, 155 tokens or something for just one). And to get there would it be better to train on normal or should I go with Intense?

Go intense on speed the entire first season and a bit. Use the bonus tokens to enhance the speed attribute for training, minimum 3* but if you want a real speedster go 4* or 5*. Spend all SPs in speed also. If you need to spend 15 bonus tokens for 1 skill point to cross a cap at the perfect time, then go for it also.

After the first season you should then have enough bonus tokens to unlock other attributes for multi (include speed in the multi), and to enhance them, and speed will be in the mid 80s as quickly as possible.

Only consider AEQ after all of your attributes are unlocked and/or enhanced to the levels you want them.

Any other advice?

personally, quad train speed, agility, vision, catching... spend all SP until speed is 88... apply SP's when you have trained to 95% or so. After 88 is in speed, work on agility until 73-77, then catching to probably 77 all while training vision.

I'm spending bonus tokens on upgrading jumping b/c i'll train rest of career after I get speed to 88.

As far is equipment goes, many will argue that you need +3 speed 5% catch AEQ needs to be your first piece of equipment, personally, I'm making that my second piece of equipment because catching is my 3 attribute I'm going to raise so 5% of 40 catching early in career isn't much imo. I'm going juke because I'll have speed and agility, then catching aeq.

I like this plan but I may have some more agility. I haven't built a lot of WR's so take it for what it's worth.

88? How can you justify spending 9 SPs per point? That seems to gimp your other attributes. Do WRs really need 160+ speed?

I'll justify it by getting AEQ in QC and Juke with my +4 custom piece in first step. End build will have 10 first step, 10 quick cut, and 10 juke and won't have to spend a gang of SP to reach that..

I guess it's just me,but AEQ in quick cut ='s waste. first step prob, juke no. What about First Step,Spin/Break Tackle/and the last catch ball. Seems to me with the nerf to Ballhawk and DvG CB's are now forced to change their builds and aren't equipped to handle that type of WR. Add slippery and some "other" nice VA's we're looking at a nice catch and break one tackle and "take it to the house type WR".

if I cut out Quick cut, what about adding fake% to compliment juke and catch fake?

Juke really isn't going to work on most CB's as they will have high vision(90 on mine with Football Genuis) and maybe an avoid fake piece. Your best bet is to catch the ball, break the tackle, and have first step kick in and be off to the races. Now CB's will have to take tackling/strength higher to compensate for the loss of DVG. Break Tackle WR's are back in business. My retired WR averaged a broken tackle/missed tackle almost every other catch in the WL.

what does strength, carrying, and jumping look like on that build?

I'd have said 87, but we're splitting hairs. 160 Speed is what you should be aiming for, then add the 5 from Track Star. You'll still be able to get Agily to 85+ and Catching to 80+. Stamina & Vision to 70. A Make Catch %, a FS and a QC piece will get them up to 10+. All others are much less important.

are you kidding? this is a WR we talking about right?
don't know how you plan to beat any decent CBs anywhere w/ no QC
they have change direction and u know they will use it.

yr WR has to get OPEN
all the tackle breaking ability in the world =\= a damn thing
if you can't get open to catch the freakin ball in the first place

this, and Juke for the 4th AEQ imo
between Spin and Juke, juke will fire much much more
without having the 70+ strength and carry needed to use the spin often
which is gonna drag down other important parts of the build.
additionally, juke will help you to get open. spin won't.
some i'm thinking for a speed WR that u want to be effective as a WR
that juke is the way to go
