I think it would be cool if we could comment on the game recap pages. Maybe a new tab added to the game recaps for "Comment" on the games.

Obviously could be turned into flame fests, but I think it would add value to the game and not take much work.

+1. Would settle for something like the "players note" field or something limited to GM/team members, but this suggestion could help revive some rivalries.

AND

Might be fun to have a live "chat" box during replays, so that you could make comments to each play, with the comments showing up to someone else watching the game after the play completes just like the result text does.

I think there's more cons than pros here...

What are the cons? Part of the process of deciding whether to add a feature or not is to identify the pros and cons, not just saying that they exist.

I think most are worried about modding this proposed area. But they added custom notes to player pages and profiles... I don't see why this is any different. Put a small button in the corner of each area where the comments are held to report if it breaks any rules... Just like our posts here on the forum.

Good in concept, would be terrible in practice.

At least from what I'm envisioning after reading...basically a thread at the bottom of every replay. Which would 99.99999% of the time never get any activity, and the little activity it would get would be flaming.
