Utilizing the gameplanning time frame, allow for players to be changed in and out and specific plays/drills to be run against your own team so the coordinators can gauge or make adjustments to their work. Offense, Defense and Special Teams.
I'm just talking about individual plays on offense and then individual formations on defense against particular offensive formations. On STs you could run a kickoff simulation to see how players sync up when things like First Step gets built up on one or two players and not the others in the squad. Just so a coordinator can make changes and see how it works.
