This is very common in the NFL. Especially when transitioning to different schemes.

I think the best way to do this would make it cost FPs per pound.

Only allow it during the off season.

Make there be a maximum of how many pounds you can gain/lose per off season. I think half the weight range would be good per off season which would make it take 2 off seasons for the full range.

Why would you pay flex for your player to lose weight? You set it yourself when you create the player so you should not be able to change it imo

Have you ever experiment with a build before or changed schemes?

It should be really really easy to gain weight, and really really hard to lose it.

And if you lose weight, it automatically comes back plus an extra 10 pounds the next season.

I mean, hey, if we're going for realism, let's go for REALISM, right?

By the way, -1. srs.

In any league of GLB...This is a huge waste of time when maybe only a few people will use it (Even less if you have to pay flex for it). There are much more important suggestions that they need to work on before they even think about things like this. Therefore it is very unnecessary and isn't a GLB concern/need.

+ initial weight can affect hitting early caps, and thus affects builds, and being able to alter it later on could add a layer of possible exploits. And as stated, hardly anyone would bother with it, and thus it won't bring in any significant money, and so it won't be considered.

Flex points to lose weight is a TERRIBLE idea.

Skill points or bonus tokens to lose weight? There, you might have something workable.
