I suggest the options to force starters be listed on the advanced energy settings, on the depth chart itself or even within the AI outputs in a way that each depth chart slot can have its own setting(s)... so a team, for example, can force the starter at WR1 on 3rd downs and force WR2 starter on 4th down, etc without also forcing the starting QB, HB, G, etc. every time.

It might actually be easier if the depth chart had a "no starter" check box--where no matter who was there (2 or 3 or more) they'd all be considered starters for "force starter" purposes while the chart slots with the "no starter" check box off would force those starters in those situations.

There's only a tiny percentage of plays where WR2 and 3 aren't starters. Seems like a lot of effort for so little.

that was just an example... better example... lots of teams have three guys at a skill position like HB but only 2 at non-skill position like OT... if i want to force the starting HB the only way I can do that it by also forcing the starting OT... well, I have 3 HBs but only 2 LOTs, I don't want to overtire the starting LOT.
