Simple. I've not yet spent RP by accident, but nearly have several times. Either make the option box unchecked by default, or put the option somewhere very prominent, not hidden away down at the bottom of the page. It's sneaky and mean!

OMG yes. I have to constantly make sure to uncheck that box, there are multiple times during the course of a season where I may create a "temporary" dot , just to experiment with something for a few days.
Also if you make an error with initial build, for example "Steve" decides to create a new dot on day 40 for that new rookie team that he committed to building a WR for, but "Steve" has been working 12 hour days all week, it is a Saturday night, he has been guzzling down quite a few Captn. + Cokes and mistakes Punting with Speed when building his WR. He wakes up Sunday morning, pops a couple Advil, puts on a pot of coffee , and while waiting for it to percolate he logs into GLB. He looks at his new dot, and says "WTF???" Promptly hits the retire button, but no flex is returned to him. Again "Steve" says "WTF???" So "Steve" sends in a support ticket aksking where his flex is, how come he got no refund for the creation cost. "Steve" goes ahead and builds a new WR , and notices that [use reward points] box is checked, and realizes what he forgot to do. "Steve" is so distraught over this, he rages into the kitchen where his coffee has finished percolating , grabs the coffee pot and hurls it at his computer. Well, what "Steve" has failed to realize is that his little cat Fluffy was culed up sleeping behind the computer, and the hot coffee slamming into the tower at such force allows the liquids to get inside the electrical system, and it also forces the tower itself to slide back abruptly against the wall, pinning poor Fluffy between the two. The liquids and electrical curcuits cause a huge spike of electricity out the back frying Fluffy to a crisp.
GLB, please remove the auto check in the [use reward points] checkbox before another harmless kitty dies a horrible death
