I think their stats really need to be toned down as if a Iron Man player is KR/PR & a HB or WR who gets quite a few touches they have a distinct advantage over normal team player's that have a full 55 man roster where a lot more players get touches. I think this needs to be accounted for or otherwise it is more of a popularity contest, per say, than who was the best player overall. I personally think a team should have to have 40 human players for anyone on their team to be included in the MVP race.

-1. If you can't beat a guy who plays all over the field and will thus be more tired that you (not to mention a possible OOP) then you honestly don't deserve MVP. Same with the gutted teams.

I guess it depends on whether the stats from offense and/or defense somehow work into the calculations--you shouldn't get a Defensive MVP award for things done on offense and vice versa. Same goes for Special Teams, however, and GLB hasn't fixed that--easiest way to get a Def MVP trophy is to pad your stats with a bunch of ST tackles.

That is exactly what I am talking about. People working the system to get a MVP trophy has to go already. I have no problem with Iron Man teams per say, but I do think they should have their own League like Casual & PeeWee does. It is not as if they add anything to GLB in a regular League because any team that is somewhat good can beat them pretty easy which makes them pretty much worthless to me. Gutted teams are a whole different story so please don't compare apples to oranges, but they also continue to plague GLB.

the problem isn't Iron Man but the way MVP stats are tabluated... if a LB also plays TE then the offensive stats shoudln't in anyway influence their ranking as a DEFENSIVE MIVP... same goes for ST... has nothing to do with Iron Man, problem is GLB

Wrong. That same player is playing against other players that are playing all over the field.

For like 2 or 3 league games. Theremainder is against the rest of the normal league.

In the league that the OP is complaining about there is only 1 ironman team. http://goallineblitz.com/game/league.pl?league_id=202

And even if there were 5 ironman teams, all dots play the same opponents eventually. The dot from the normal team has just as much of a chance to rack up stats as an ironman dot.

Also the OPs dot is lvl 14 while the current MVP is lvl 17. That's the bigger reason he's not in contention.

The fact is Iron Man team's should have their own League......period. That way this nonsense wouldn't even matter & of course my guy isn't LVL 17 yet. Why screw up end build for 1 Season because of a Iron Man player that is getting combined stats. Either don't allow combined stats or put them in their own League as they really do nothing to help ours.

This would be one reason it would be nice to be able to set up more sandlot leagues. Make each league a multi season Flex cost.
Personally, that would probably be a #1 thing for me right now, allowing leagues outside of the standard hierarchy with
set limitations on # Roster Spots for Iron Man leagues,
set teams (all the teams make a 2 or 3 season commitment with a Flex buy in towards the total league cost)

I've still not seen anything saying he's getting combined stats. They are just getting more opportunities because there aren't more players on the team.

The reason the WR in that league is #1 Offense is because the other receivers on that team are basically just blockers and all plays are going this guys way. and he's #2 on ST because in regular season games he returns a CRAP load of Kicks because teams score on them. You could easily duplicate this with a non-iron man player by skewing your offense and just allowing the other team to score on you all the time so they are kicking off like crazy.
