How does this guy continue to win? Another night of him looking terrible throwing the ball, but running all over the other team. Why can no one stop him from running the ball...It seems like a defensive coordinator would be smart enough to single cover every WR and have at least 1-2 LBs spy him the entire game until he shows he can pass the ball. Tebow still hasn't proven to be a good Qb in the NFL but he defiantly knows how to win games. I wish I had a dot like him...

He does have a laser though. I watched a few of his games (on my fantasy team) and he can throw the ball, he just doesn't have a Wes Welker ot a Calvin Johnson. Imagine how good he be if he had someone to throw to.he is a huge guy running the ball, has great vision and uses his blockers well.

He's much bigger than an average RB and on QB run plays there are 10 blockers and a pass threat. On RB runs there are 9 blockers and negligible pass threat. i remember someone like the Lions using a 5-man front against Vick in his first time round.
It's also a case of being uncomfortable against an option running QB - it's not something seen much in the NFL.
One of the downsides normally is injury - Tebow is obviously fairly robust and I'd also ge t the impression that Elway wouldn't be too sad if he got hurt.
It would be interesting if they could get a few more gadget type players in there - a wildcat type HB or someone like Randle-El (I know he's retired) as Tebow would need covering seriously too.
One more thing is that the Broncos D is seriously good now and limiting opponents a lot. Lots of rookie QBs go on to run heavy teams with a good D and win a few games. Not all become Roethlisberger

The big problem would be if they get to the playoffs with Tebow - they'll keep him another year and it'll be 2013 before they think of bringing in a passer.

He's delivery is the slowest in the league. They said its like 2 seconds and he doesn't get his elbow up high enough or something. That kid can run tho. And he's a leader on the field.

Look Tebow was built for the option. He has more than enough mobility, and size to take on plently of hits, also With 10 blockers. (not 11, that would imply that they have 12 men on the feild.) It eliminates hat on a hat run defense. Will this type of option work in the NFL for the long run. No. It's another Gimick play that gets shut down quickly in the NFL. This wouldn't last forever one being playing in Denver means cold weather, colder weather means more achs and a harder feild. Hits feel harder, bones break easier (figure of speech. Also about the D. I wouldn't believe what I am seeing. They havn't faced a real offensive threat yet with Tebow under center. There D will faulter later in the season, forcing Tebow to make his money.

Anyone hear Mark Schlereth on ESPN Radio Thursday afternoon (I think the SVP show)?

"When I watch Tebow throw, I start to think to myself, is this guy really left handed?"

I about drove off the road in laughter.

What games are you watching? The ball in flight wobbles all over the place, typically low, of his passes last night, the majority made the receivers make a great catch (which Denver receiver's can't do). I think I've seen 4-5 good on target nice ball flight passes this season out of Tebow.

But did you see him run over Revis near the sideline, that was pretty awesome!!!!

And as for his long term success, I think he will have some. He'll get a few playoff wins, I don't predict any championships other than division (it is the AFC West after all). And the Option Offense has been going on in College for a very long time now.I think defenses will be slower to adjust then people think. There's so much flexibility, if everyone stays healthy (a BIG if here), things like the play early in the game with the option forward shovel pass that went for 8-10 yards are just going to keep defenses back and the Broncos will be able to nickel and dime their way down the field, control the ball, keep the scores low and win games.

On that shovel pass play there were really 4 options, outside pitch, inside pitch, Tebow Keeper, and pass if I remember correctly, the Weak Side WR was slanting to draw the LBs over to the middle of the field as well. Get a true second dual threat in there like a Colin Klein out of K-State, or a Brad Smith who I think is sitting on the bench somewhere (former Missouri QB) or some other multipurpose guy who can throw and run and god knows what this offense will throw at you.

But seriously, Tebow as a legitimate 40+ pass attempt threat in the NFL is laughable.

The Option is a QB killer. LB'ers are bigger, and DE's are faster. QB's will get drilled, ball in hand or not. Tebow if they continue to play like this won't last 2-3 seasons.

Brad Smith is a 3rd sting back-up for the Bills. QB/WR.

It's obvious Tebow doesn't have the throwing mechanics of a Breese or Brady but I agree with LE he does have a strong arm. Note the over thrown seam route last night. It's not uncommon for a mobile QB to struggle with accuracy because throwing on the move is more difficult. We've seen this before. Dan Fouts many times would look like he was going to fall down dropping back into the pocket. The Ravens won a super bowl with tough defense and Trent Dilfer who set an NFL record for most ints. The media felt it necessary to highlight the fact that Tebow never took a snap from under center while in college but failed to mention a few years ago half the league ran their version of the K Gun.....Jim Kelly and Buffalo and the Falcons Red Gun. Tebow has something that doesn't show up in shuttle drills at the scouting combine and its contagious and his team mates have caught it. At some point the game will start to slow down for him and he will improve as a passer. Imagine how dangerous he will become as a dual threat. Elway has one of the hottest stories in football right now which equals ticket sales and tv deals so it would be foolish to think he wouldn't mind losing it to an injury.

That's what's sad, Decker is a #3 anywhere else and right now with Royal having a bad season is Denver's Top Receiver.

Tebow doesn't win the Bronco's win. They ain't even that good, there Defense is eh. String of games, where they haven't been challenged, and the only game where they have...they lost.
